Clinical Supervision
Individual and Group Supervision
Good clinical supervision is extremely important for the development of professionals in the mental health fields. I received extensive supervision training in graduate school, and have 14 hours of gender-affirming supervision training. I have supervised many practicum students and interns over the course of my career, and find that the work is invaluable. I have provided clinical supervision at Southern Illinois University CAPS, Virginia Commonwealth University UCS, Sage Anxiety Treatment Program, CA Northstate Department of Psychology CCAPS, Gender Health Center, and Alliant International University (CSPP Sacramento) ASPS. I have also supervised students in the Multicultural Immersion Program (MIP) at UC Davis SHCS.
Please reach out if you are interested in paid clinical supervision.
Workshops on Clinical Supervision
In addition to providing supervision, I have a passion for teaching about early developmental supervision. The needs of therapist in their first few years of practicing therapy are fundamental. These years help determine base skill, confidence, and identity as a practitioner. Ensuring that a therapist embodies the values and ethics of their field is critical. Additionally, supervisors should be training well. If your organization is in need of enhancing training for your supervisors, this type of workshop is for you.
